2025年7月26日，上海民生现代美术馆将推出全新展览《提视造境Promptoscape：国际人工智能艺术文献展》。本次展览是一次关于人的创造力、想像力和机器合作共生、角力博奕的创作实践展示，也是一场面向公众与未来的艺术生成实验。
展览标题“Promptoscape”一词结合了“prompt”（提示词）与“-scape”（场域、景观），意指在AI语境中由概念激发的多维感知生成空间，暗含“landscape（风景）”与“escape（逃逸）”，甚至 “prompto” (拉丁文加速）的三重隐喻：提示词不仅制造图像与想像之境，是既有认知结构的逃逸路径，更是加速衍义的推动力。
本次展览由姚大钧和马楠联合策展，汇集了来自全球十个国家和地区的AI艺术家、媒体研究者与新兴创作者的多种形式的代表性作品。展览开幕恰逢世界人工智能大会（WAIC）举办，本展览作为大会官方的特别推荐艺术展，也将成为WAIC全球嘉宾文化之旅中的重要一站。
在这个充满不确定性的时代，我们与AI之间的界面，正在从“工具”变为“共同创作的场所”。《提视造境 Promptoscape》正是一次这样的全域扫瞄——它不仅是一场国际AI艺术的盛会，更是一次感知思辨的再觉醒，一场跨越语言、媒介与文化边界的共建与共思。一切，都正在生成中。
本次展览将于2025年7月26日对公众开放，并持续展出至11月30日。
On July 26, 2025, the Power Station of Art in Shanghai will unveil a new exhibition titled Promptoscape: International AI Art Documentary Exhibition. This exhibition presents a creative exploration of human imagination, creativity, and the complex interplay between man and machine — encompassing collaboration, symbiosis, and tension. It is both a showcase of artistic practices and an experimental platform for public engagement and future-oriented art generation.
The title Promptoscape is a fusion of “prompt” and “-scape” (meaning field or landscape), referring to a multidimensional perceptual space generated by concepts within the context of AI. It carries multiple layers of metaphor: “landscape” (visual scenery), “escape” (a path of departure from existing cognitive structures), and even “prompto” (Latin for acceleration). The prompt is not merely a tool for image creation and imagination, but a catalyst for accelerated meaning-making and conceptual escape.
Co-curated by Yao Dajuin and Ma Nan, the exhibition brings together a diverse selection of representative works by AI artists, media theorists, and emerging creators from ten countries and regions around the world. Opening in parallel with the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC), this exhibition is officially endorsed as a special cultural recommendation of the conference and will serve as a key cultural destination for WAIC’s global guests.
In this era of uncertainty, our interface with AI is shifting from a mere “tool” to a “collaborative creative space.” Promptoscape represents just such a panoramic exploration — not only a global celebration of AI art, but also a reawakening of perceptual and critical thought. It is a transdisciplinary, translingual, and transcultural co-construction of shared ideas. Everything is in the process of becoming.
The exhibition will be open to the public from July 26 to November 30, 2025.
